The Problem

Many SMEs still run sales, stock, and finance on a patchwork of Excel sheets, WhatsApp chats, and emails, causing data duplication, stock errors, and missed orders. LHDN's phased e-invoicing mandate means SMEs (RM5-25m revenue) must comply by July 2025 or risk penalties, but most lack in-house tech and don't understand MyInvois API/UBL formats. Existing ERPs and accounting systems are overkill, expensive to customise, and slow to implement for local SMEs that only need simple, compliant workflows. Owners and admins waste hours monthly re-keying invoices and chasing documents, instead of focusing on sales and operations.

The Solution

A lightweight web app + WhatsApp interface that turns WhatsApp/phone orders into structured orders and LHDN-compliant e-invoices automatically. Pre-built integration to LHDN MyInvois API for real-time e-invoice validation, UIN/QR code generation, and handling rejection/cancellation within the 72-hour window. Simple mini-ERP features: customer list, product/price list, basic stock deduction, and payment status tracking—optimised for SMEs migrating from Excel. Multilingual UI and templates (BM/English/Chinese) for invoices, reminders, and internal screens. AI assistant that suggests invoice line items from past orders, auto-fills buyer details, and flags inconsistent tax calculations.

Target Market

SMEs with RM5-25m annual revenue that currently use Excel + WhatsApp and must comply with e-invoicing (traders, wholesalers, education centres, clinics, workshops, small manufacturers). Accounting firms managing invoicing for multiple SME clients.

Revenue Model

Subscription: RM199-399/month per company based on users and invoice volume. Onboarding/migration package: RM1,000-3,000 one-time. Partner/reseller channel revenue share with accounting firms and IT resellers.

4-Week Validation Plan

• Week1: Interview 15 SME owners about current Excel + WhatsApp workflow pain points.
• Week2: Build order capture MVP via WhatsApp + simple invoice generation prototype.
• Week3: Test LHDN MyInvois API integration with sandbox, validate UIN/QR generation.
• Week4: Pilot with 5 SMEs across different sectors, measure time saved on invoicing.
